William Lamar Cochran

William Lamar Cochran, 66, of Hartford passed away Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, at his home.

William was born April 23, 1955, in Arcadia, Fla., the son of Walter and Neva (Skinner) Cochran, both of whom precede him in passing. Also preceding him in passing was a brother, Leonard Cochran.

William dedicated most of his working life as a farmer, construction worker, and a mechanic. He was known for his laid-back demeanor, and loved to make people laugh. He loved the outdoors, and you could usually find him out fishing or hunting.

William married the former Merry Dunn on July 12, 1977. She survives, along with four sons: William (Leah) Cochran of Coloma, Walter Cochran and Samuel Cochran, both of Hartford, and Christopher Cochran of Benton Harbor. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and a sister, Frances Gaskins of Florida.
