William Wayne Bennett

William Wayne Bennett, 42, of Battle Creek passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020, at home.

William was born Dec. 21, 1977, in St. Joseph, the son of Vern and Irene (Rhinehart) Bennett.

William is survived by a daughter, Carri (Jacob) Pelfry of Paintsville, Ky.; two sons, William Bennett and John Bennett, both of Tomahawk, Ky.; a grandson, Gunner Pelfry; his mother, Irene (David) Morris of Hagerhill, Ky.; his father, Vern (Debra) Bennett of Battle Creek; a brother, Donald (Andrea) Bennett of Denver, Ky.; and three step-sisters.

William is preceded in passing by two brothers, Vern Bennett III and Michael Bennett.

The family will welcome friends from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, before proceeding to Maple Hill Cemetery for a graveside service at 1 p.m. Please remember that only ten people may be in the funeral home at a time, so please be patient and you will get an opportunity to visit with the family.
