Tracy Lee Callahan of Keeler Township was born on Sept. 2, 1972, in Watervliet, the daughter of Bob Crosby and Laura Shirley. Tracy passed away at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Mich., on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the age of 49.
Tracy was an avid fisher women who also enjoyed baking chocolate candies, doing funny things to make her mother-in-law laugh especially when they were in a boat, but most importantly was the times spent with her family.
On June 2, 2012, Leonard Callahan Jr., and Tracy Shirley were united in marriage. Tracy leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Leonard Jr.; two children: Dustin Wilson of Dowagiac and Erika Wilson of Niles, three step-children: Ricky (Harmony) Jewell of Mississippi, Christie (Eric) Bergan of Indianapolis and Brittaney Schram of Stevensville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; her father, Bob and Kathy Crosby; four siblings: Kelli, Apryll, Sarah and Kristia; her in-laws: Janet Ganus of Buchanan and Gene and Patty Callahan of Sawyer; and numerous other family members and friends.
Tracy was preceded in passing by her mother, Laura Shirley; father-in-law, Dave Ganus; and her grandparents: Junior and Mary Lou Shirley, the Rev. Will Smith, and Raymond and Effie Callahan.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will welcome friends from noon-1 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at the Full Gospel Christian Tabernacle Church in Watervliet where the celebration of life service to honor Tracy’s memory will follow.
