Tinnie Lue Mcconnell

Tinnie Lue McConnell was born June 3, 1925 in Holland, Mo., the daughter of Claude and Mary (Potter) Miller. Tinnie passed away at West Woods of Bridgman on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016. She worked for the William Foster family as a housekeeper and nanny for their children and grandchildren well into her seventies.

As to Tinnie's wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will have a memorial service in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice. Memorial condolences for the family can be left on our website at http://www.calvin-leonardfh.com.

On July 6, 1940, Tinnie was united in marriage to Allen McConnell. Allen passed away on May 17, 1995. Tinnie was also preceded in passing by three daughters: Loretta Mesick, Betty Bitely and Cindy Glenn; three sons: Bobby McConnell, Tom McConnell and Charles McConnell; her parents and four brothers: Gene Miller, Joe Miller, Marvin Miller and Bonnie Miller.

Tinnie is survived by three daughters: Shebby Hand of Saint Joseph, Barbara Roush of Ocala, Fla. and Anita Bard of Jonesboro, Ark. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Nancy McConnell of Keeler; a son-in-law, Ron Mesick of Three Rivers; a brother, Jackie (Mary) Miller of Leachville, Ark.; a brother-in-law, George McConnell of Old Town, Fla. and two sisters-in-law: Juanita Miller of Hartford and Lillian Miller of Leachville, Ark.
