Thomas Ford Moody, Sr.

Thomas Ford Moody Sr., 51, of Hartford passed away suddenly Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at home.

Thomas was born May 8, 1966, in Decaturville, Tenn., the son of James and Bonnie (Hayes) Moody, both of whom preceded him in passing. Also preceding him in passing were three brothers, five sisters and his soul mate, Theresa Johnson.

Thomas is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Jermiah) Moody-Moore of Coloma; five sons: Thomas Moody Jr. and Joey (Amy Spangler) Moody, both of Coloma, Keegan Moody, Jerry (CJ) Moody and Tommy Moody, all of Hartford; and grandchildren: Noah, Bailey, Kylee, Greyson and Alexandra. He is also survived by a brother, James "Hank" Moody of Tennessee; three sisters: Lena Martin, Bonnie Ball and Betty Black, all of Tennessee; and numerous other family members.

The family will welcome friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, where the service to honor his memory will commence at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Cemetery, Watervliet.
