Russell Anthony Brunais

Russell Anthony Brunais was born Oct. 23, 1956, the son of Frank and Lucille (Scott) Brunais. Russell passed away at the age of 63, Sunday, Aug. 16, 2020, at Hanson Hospice Center, Lincoln Township.

Russell graduated from Hartford High School. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He was united in marriage to Sandra Meyer and was formerly employed at K.O. Products Inc.

As to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A time of sharing memories of Russell will take place from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford. Russell is survived by his wife, Sandra; a daughter, Melinda (Danny) Thompson of Lawton; a granddaughter, Danielle Thompson of Kalamazoo; three grandsons: Eric (Katelyn) Tippett of Farmington Hills, Christian Danforth and Mark O'Connor both of Georgia, four great-granddaughters and a great-grandson. He is also survived by two brothers: Frank (Nani) Brunais of Waynesvile, Mo., and William (Rose) Brunais of Hillsboro, Ore., and a sister, Mary Aman of Missouri.

Russell was preceded in death by a daughter, Pamela Rae Danforth; his parents and a brother, Donald Brunais.
