Randy Lee Costner, 65, of Dowagiac passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Mich.

The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford, followed by a celebration of life service to honor Randy’s memory. Pastor Thomas Fuller will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. Randy was born on Dec. 16, 1957, in Lincoln County, N.C., the son of Evans and Addie Lee (Craig) Costner, both of whom precede him in passing. He was also preceded by two brothers: Stevie and Danny Costner.

Randy leaves behind to cherish his memory a son, Scottie Costner; a daughter, Angela Costner; a significant other, Sandy Taylor; grandchildren: Shawanda Lovell, Blaze Lovell, Jerimiah Speck, Haley Jockum, Lillian Jockum and twelve others. He is also survived by three brothers: Johnny, Franklin and Evans; five sisters: Janie, Junie, Rebecca, Patsy and Victoria; and many other family members and friends.
