Randell Rudolph Brown, 71, of Grand Junction, passed away suddenly Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, in Hartford.
Randell was born Nov. 14, 1944, in Caruthersville, Mo., the son of Estel and Aline (Pollock) Brown, both of whom precede him in passing. Also preceding him in passing was a son Randell Rudolph Brown, II, and a brother, Louis Brown.
Randell was a proud farm laborer and junker and loved having fun spending time at the casino.
Randell married the former Nettie Henslee of Aug. 19, 1963. She survives, along with three sons: James Nathan (Pat) Brown of Grand Junction, Gilbert Brown of Missouri, and Ross (Tammy) Brown of Dowagiac; three daughters: April Whitener of Grand Junction, Heaven (Eulogio) Blas and Charmin (Erasto) Guerrero, both of Hartford; twelve grandchildren: Mellisa (Porfirio) Hernandez, James (Gayle) Brown, Misty (Gary) Wells, Randy (Samantha) Brown, Sherry Clouse, Chelsea Brown, Dale Whitener, David (Marie) Whitener, Martina Blas, Amber Grable, Michelle Grable and Miguel Blas; eleven great-grandchildren, and nine siblings: Sharon Wilson of South Haven, Barb Tosh of Bangor, Birdie Farley of Covert, Ralph (Marylou) Brown of Missouri, Venita Reeder of Ark., Claire Mayo of Fla., Pat Fitzpatrick of Missouri, Bessie Dikus of Florida and Dennis Brown of Bangor.
As per Randell's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
