Ramona Nell Fuller Pradon was born Oct. 28, 1935, in Hornersville, Mo. She was one of six children born to John and Ruth (Cole) Neighbors.
Ramona passed away peacefully at her home with her family Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, after a battle with cancer. In addition to her parents, Ramona was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Fuller and Donald Pradon; a great-grandson, Dylan Baham; one sister, June Wyrick; and two brothers, Everett and Johnnie Neighbors.
She is survived by her daughters, Violet (Gary) Jewell of Coloma and Rhonda (Willie) Brumley of Hartford; six beloved grandchildren: Stacy (Zeb) Deitrich of Stevensville, Clint (Jessica) Jewell of Coloma, Mona Jewell of Coloma, Jessica (Chuck) Baham of Hartford, Mike (Erica) Brumley of Watervliet and Jennifer (Bryan) Romeo of Hartford: 13 beloved great-grandchildren: Taylor, Hayden, Cole, Johnnie, Abigail, Noah, Brooke, Brittany, Mia, Roman, Caleb J., Kourtney and Kaleb; and one great-great-grandchild, Brealynn. Ramona is also survived by two sisters: Shirley (Jim) Blackburn and Neta (Harold) Bibbs, both of Hornersville, Mo.; longtime friend and neighbor, Peggy Winans; and many other wonderful friends.
A time of fellowship celebrating her life will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at the Van Buren Sportsman's Club in Hartford. Ramona's ashes will be inurned in Maple Hill Cemetery in Hartford. Memorial condolences for the family can be left at http://www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
Ramona was formerly employed at Hartford Public Schools as a teacher's aide, working with children in kindergarten through the eighth grade, and then at the Van Buren Learning Center in Lawrence, working with TMI students, ages 12-15, retiring in 1998. She always considered her family a true blessing and loved them very much. She cherished the time spent with them and appreciated all of her good friends.
