Rachel Lynn Arnt

Rachel Lynn (Snodgrass) Arnt, 32, of Eau Claire went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 19, 2014.

Rachel was born July 12, 1982, in St. Joseph, the daughter of Larry and Deborah Snodgrass.

On July 25, 2009, Rachel and Christopher Arnt were united in marriage. He survives along with their son, Maverick. She is also survived by her parents; a sister, Leslie (Henry) Burrows of Watervliet; her grandmother, Florence "Joann" Kimp of Hartford; a nephew, Trent of Watervliet; her father- and mother-in-law, Greg and Tammy Arnt of Eau Claire; a sister-in-law, Courtney Arnt of Farmington Hills, Mich.; her grandmothers-in-law, Betty Arnt of Eau Claire and Nancy Elliot of Sodus; special friends, Corrina Sheridan of Watervliet and Tracy McClure of Parrish, Fla.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Rachel was preceded in passing by her grandparents, Gene and Bonnie Snodgrass; her grandfather, Richard Kimp; and her grandfathers-in-law, Clifford Arnt and Homer Elliot.

Rachel was one who made friends easily and once a friend, you were a friend for life. She was a very giving person who would give anything and everything she had to help someone in need.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Rachel's life will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at the Bright Star Tabernacle Church, located at 5130 Old Pipestone Road, Eau Claire. Pastor Mike Fields will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Christopher Arnt for a scholarship fund to be started for their son, Maverick.
