Phillip Lynn Mann

November 21, 1951 — May 10, 2015

Phillip Lynn Mann of Coloma died at home Sunday, May 10, 2015, at the age of 63. Phillip was born to Jewell and Bernice Mann on Nov. 21, 1951, in Hardy, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bill Mann. He is survived by his beloved partner, Claudia Hall; two daughters, Sabrina Sanders and Angel Cole; his siblings: Buford Mann, Charles Garner, Imogene Boyd, Jewell Mann, Bob Goble, Shirley Lane, Peggy Mann, Larry Mann and Gary Mann; and several nieces and nephews.

Phil was no stranger to anyone, making friends wherever he went and making everyone around him laugh. He was quite the entertainer, in more ways than one. He was well known in Southwest Michigan for blessing everyone with his beautiful voice, doo-wop and crooning the crowds at his "Phil Mann Show." Phil had a painting business most of his life. But what truly fed his soul were his family and his music. He will be sadly missed, but when you find yourself thinking of Phil, a smile will surely come to your face … perhaps even a laugh or two.

Those who wish to say farewell to Phil are welcome to attend visitation from 7-8 p.m. Friday, May 15, at Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford, and funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, at the funeral home.
