Paula Starleen Davis

Paula Starleen “Star” Davis, 67, of Hartford passed away suddenly June 20, 2021 at home.

Star was born Nov. 6, 1953, in Watervliet, the daughter of Paul and Ina (Wallace) Nelson, both of whom precede her in passing.

Star is survived by her husband of 39 years, Ricky; five children: Troy Nelson and Jessica Rentz, both of Hartford, Emily Davis de Castillo (Francisco) of Honduras, Adam Davis of Monroe and Aaron Davis of Owosso, OK; grandchildren: Brendan, Austin, Megan, Paige, Alek, Emma, Addison, Landon, Jacob and Allison. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; three sisters: Michelle Wycoff, Kelley Beardon and Stephanie Panse; and two brothers: Kevin (Sandy) Nelson and Jeff (Sherrie) Nelson.

The family will welcome friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 25 at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, where the service to honor her memory will commence at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26 with Pastor Adam Davis officiating.
