Paul Perez

Paul Perez was born Nov. 17, 1961, in Houston, Texas, one of seven children born to Robert and Rachel Perez. Paul passed away suddenly at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, on Monday, March 26, 2018.

Paul was a professional painter by trade. He was the owner of Paul Perez Painting out of Keeler. He was a people person, loved to go camping, and especially attending all of the family gatherings. Paul was a military veteran, serving his country in the U.S. Army.

The family will welcome friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at The Church Keeler. A celebration of life service to honor Paul's memory will commence at noon on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at the church. The Rev. Jesse Maya will officiate. Paul will be laid to rest in Keeler Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Church Keeler. The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home of Hartford with helping with the arrangements. Paul is survived by his son, Aaron Paul Perez; his parents, Robert and Rachel; five sisters: Christy (Miguel) Ortega and their children, Kayla, Roberto and Marcos; Guadalupe (Pat) Perez and their children, George and Shane; Sandra Perez; Linda Balderramas and her children, Michael and Gabriel; and Sheila Perez and her child, Stephanie; and his deceased brothers children, Rachael and Jessica; and numerous other family members and friends.

Paul was preceded in passing by his brother, Robert Perez.
