Paul Wayne Brink

Paul Wayne Brink, 82 of Lawrence, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his home.

A celebration of life service to honor Paul's memory will be held at 4 P.M. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford. The family will welcome friends from 3 to 4 P.M. prior to the service. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Paul was born on April 29, 1932 in Watervliet, the son of Alvin and (Cora) Brink. He retired from UPS with a perfect driving record after 38 years of faithful service. He enjoyed making all kinds of crafts, reading, classical music and a lot of talking.

Paul is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth, two sons; Frederick Brink of Logan, Utah and Gary (Janine) Brink of Hartford, a daughter; Debra (Jim) Griffin of Lawrence, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, a brother; Allen (Jesse) Brink of Bangor, a brother-in-law; Chuck Ishmael of Watervliet and numerous other family members and friends.

Paul was preceded in passing by his parents, a sister; Clotelle Rood and two brothers; Donald Nothdurft and Lee Brink.
