Nathan Howard Burrell was born Oct. 22, 1987, in Allegan, the son of Kelly and Tamara (Goodrich) Burrell.
Nathan passed away suddenly, on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020, at the age of 33.
Nathan is survived by his wife, Jordan; his mother, Tamara (Ed) Claxton of New Port Richey, Fla.; his father, Kelly Burrell of Allegan; a sister, Chelsey (Peter) Walker of New Port Richey, Fla.; three brothers: Garrett Burrell and Robert (Ashley) Holden, both of Allegan, and Connor Burrell of Plainwell; stepfather, Scott Boydston of Allegan; two step sisters, Lacy Boydston and Amanda (Charlie) Wellington, both of Allegan; and a step brother, Joshua (Jessica) Claxton of New Port Richey, Fla. He is also survived by his grandparents: Barbara Lawson of New Port Richey, Fla., Norman Burrell of Allegan, Donna Kerber of Shelbyville, and Ronald (Tina) Goodrich of New Port Richey, Fla.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Nathan was an active member of the U.S. Army National Guard, stationed in Ft. Bliss, Texas. He was formerly employed at the Baker Company in Twentynine Palms, Cal. He had studied law enforcement at Rasmussen College, and was now studying criminal justice at Tennessee State University.
There will be a memorial celebration of life service to honor Nathan’s life on Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Hopkins Community Church. The U.S. Army will conduct full military rites.
