Max Willard Graves

Max Willard Graves, 59, of Hartford passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Mich.

Max was born Jan. 14, 1965, in Chicago, the son of Max Sr., and Constance (Heuerrmann) Graves, both of whom preceded him in passing.

Max was employed at M.P.H., as an electrician.

Max is survived by three children: Jessica (Scott) Roberts, Max (Jessica) Furgeson and Patricia (John) Brink. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Neil Graves, Renee Webb and Stella Thompson.

As per Max’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends honoring his memory will commence at 6 p.m., Friday, June 21, in the Hartford Bible Church gymnasium. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made in care of his daughter, Jessica, for funeral expenses. The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements.
