Maryellen Faye Meachum

Maryellen Faye Meachum, 98, formerly of Lawrence passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at Alamo Nursing Home.

Maryellen was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Arizona, the daughter of Fred and Amy (Chaplin) Winn, both of whom precede her in passing. Also preceding her in passing were her first husband, Newton Bolen; second husband, Arland Meachum; two children: Mary Jennette and Bobby Gene; three sisters; and six brothers.

Maryellen is survived by two sons, Mickey (Carol) Bolen of Gowen and John Bolen of Otsego; one daughter, Rachel (Charles Sr.) Phaneuf of Villa Rica, Ga.; fourteen grandchildren: Woody, Mark, Michael, Stephen, Frederick, Matthew, Brian, Joe, Hope, Sarah, Charles Jr., Alice, Dwight (David) and Phillip; several great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will welcome friends from 1-2 p.m., Friday, April 28, at Full Gospel Assembly Church, Hartford, where the service to honor her memory will commence at 2 p.m., with Pastor Shannon Truelove officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Cemetery, Lawrence Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Centrica Care Navigators.
