Marie Helen King

Marie Helen King, 97, of South Haven, formerly of Coloma and Hartford, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018, at Countryside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.

Marie was born July 3, 1920, in Chicago, the daughter of John and Barbara Dubberke, both of whom preceded her in passing. She was also preceded by her stepfather, Frank Marousek; a brother, Herman Dubberke; and a sister, JoAnne Sautier.

Marie was a substitute teacher in Hartford and Watervliet for several years and a member of the garden club for many years.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

As to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Hartford, at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Holland. The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements.
