Maria Antonia Aranda

Maria Antonia Aranda was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Saltillo, Mexico, the daughter of Antonio and Maria (Martinez) Rocio. She passed away at the age of 84, on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at her home in Hartford Township, with her family by her side.

Maria is survived by her children: Ricardo Aranda, Lydia Aranda, Luis Aranda all of Hartford, Gerardo Aranda of Lawrence, Josefa (Guillermo) Hernandez of Texas, Jaime (Fabienne) Aranda of Indiana, Javier (Patricia) Aranda of Decatur, Irma (Thomas) Cruz of Lawrence, Enrique Aranda, and Daniel Aranda both of Hartford. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, Juan Herrera of Texas.

Maria was preceded in passing by her husband, Victor Aranda; two sons, Pedro Aranda and Romaldo Aranda; and a grandson, Ricky Aranda.
