Lynne Susan Rybarski, 68, of Decatur passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo.
Lynne was born Oct. 27, 1956, in Paw Paw, the daughter of Eugene and Mary (Spicher) Brigham. She graduated from Decatur High School, class of 1974. She was formerly employed, for 15 years, at the former EPC, in Mattawan. In her spare time, she enjoyed ‘hitting it big’ at the casino, loved animals, especially cows and squirrels, but the most enjoyable times were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Lynne is survived by her three children: William “Bill” (Tinesha) Rybarski, Robert Rybarski and Brittany (Jason) Crall; along with fifteen grandchildren.
Lynne is preceded by her father, Eugene; a granddaughter, Amelia Rybarski; a sister, Jean Miller and a nephew, Randy Johnson Jr.
Lynne has been cremated, and a memorial service will take place, at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the First Baptist Church of Decatur, where visitation will begin at 1 p.m., until the time of the services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name will be made to her mother, Mary. The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements.
