Leanne Tate

LeAnne Tate, 50, of Hartford passed away suddenly Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, at home.

LeAnne was born March 4, 1966, in Hartford, the daughter of LeRoy Conner and Darlene (Dahlke) Tate, both of whom preceded her in passing. She was also preceded in passing by four brothers: James Donald Tate, Patrick Davis Tate, Steven Douglas Tate and Michael Lee Tate.

LeAnne was a homemaker, who loved spending much of her time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

LeAnne is survived by two daughters, Rachel (Patrick) Asakevich of Kalamazoo and Roxane Tate of Hartford; five grandchildren: Tyler and Tristan Asakevich and Elijah, Darlene and Easton Doest; two sisters, Paula Marie VanLandingham and Mary (Dan) Herron; along with many nieces and nephews.

As per her wishes, LeAnne will be cremated. The family will welcome friends from 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with a memorial service to honor her memory to follow. A luncheon will be held following the service at the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians Elder Hall in Dowagiac.
