Kimberly Anne Bedford

Kimberly Anne "Kim" Bedford, 48, of Hartford was born June 10, 1967, in Los Angeles. She passed away suddenly Sept. 20, 2015.

Kim will be missed by her church family at Hartford United Methodist Church, where she attended a women's Sunday school class as well as worship services. Kim many times described her church as "my second home." She spent countless hours working in the kitchen, helping on any dinners at the church and any other activities going on for which she could volunteer to help. Kim was also devoted to volunteering with Cooperating Ministries Food Pantry on Wednesday mornings, unloading supply trucks, helping stock shelves and working on Thursdays carrying groceries out for clients. Kim's chatter and laughter filled many hearts at church and the food pantry, and will be missed.

A memorial service to honor Kim's memory will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, at Hartford United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ryan Wenburg officiating. The family has entrusted Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. Kim was preceded in passing by her mother. She is survived by two sons, Shawn Delgato of Federal Way, Wash., and Eric Tankersley of Hartford; her significant other, Steven Tankersley of Hartford; and her stepfather, Eurgel DeVoe of Federal Way, Wash.
