Kenneth Wayne Mcglothlin

Kenneth Wayne McGlothlin was born on Feb. 16, 1951, in California, the son of Leroy and Ouida (Pratt) McGlothlin, both of whom precede him in passing. Also preceding him was a sister, Devonna Price. Kenneth passed away Friday, April 30, 2021, at his home.

On Aug. 19, 2000, Ken as he was known by most, was united in marriage with Tamara Burfield. Those Ken leaves behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Tamara; two daughters: Donna McGlothlin of Clarksville, Tenn., and Elizabeth (Ferrell) Efting of Hartford; two sons: Nicholas Wayne McGlothlin of Hartford, and William Efting of Kalamazoo, Mich. Ken is also survived by six grandchildren; and two brothers: Randall (Karen) McGlothlin of Rockford, Ill., and Rick (Venus) McGlothlin of Little Rock, Ark.

Ken owned and operated K & M Roofing for over fourty years doing many of the homes here in Hartford and in the surrounding communities. In his spare time, he loved to go hunting and fishing.

As to Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside memorial service to honor Ken’s life at noon, on Friday May 7, in Thomas Cemetery, Bangor Township. Pastor Stephanie Norton of the Hartford United Methodist Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
