Kathleen Ann Killingsworth

Kathleen Ann "Kathy" Killingsworth, 60, of Decatur, was born June 25, 1953. She went to be with her Lord on June 13, 2014. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at home.

Kathy loved her guinea pig, Noel, with all her heart. Her favorite pastimes and hobbies were her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed being creative and always helping and serving others.

A service to honor Kathy's memory will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21, at Sanctuary Church, 206 Church St., Watervliet. A reception will follow at 216 W. South St., Hartford. Instead of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated. The family has entrusted Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements. Kathy was preceded in passing by her husband, Edward; her parents; and a great-grandson, Wyatt Edward Joseph Hess.

Kathy is survived by a daughter, Dana (Paul Jr.) Hess; two sons, Mark (Sherrill) Daniel and James (Amanda) Daniel; grandchildren: Bill, Linda (Brandon), Adam, Challen (Bridgette), Forrest, Kira and Ayden; great-grandchildren: Dixie, Trinity, Kendra, Paige and Bradley; and two brothers, Tommy and John Hale.
