Karen Lynne Harmon

Karen Lynne Harmon, 60, of Hartford, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo.

Karen was born March 23, 1953, in Muskegon, the daughter of Arvin and Valerie (Jackson) Byers, both of whom preceded her in passing. Also preceding her in passing were a grandson, Andrew David Zeiner; and her beloved dog, Froggie.

Karen is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Johnson of Hartford and Valerie Johnson of Riverside; a son, Paul Harmon of South Haven; two granddaughters, Paige and Cheyenne Staggs, both of Lawrence; and two brothers, Paul (Loree) Byers of Washington and Keith (Margie) Byers of St. Louis, Mo.

As per Karen's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements. Those wishing to leave memorial condolences for the family may do so at http://www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
