Juan Francisco Reyna

Juan Francisco Reyna, 66, of Hartford passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at Lakeland Community Hospital, Watervliet.


Juan was born Oct. 4, 1948, in Joiner, Ark., the son of Bobby and Teodora (Solis) Reyna, both of whom preceded him in passing. Also preceding him in passing was a brother, Lupe Reyna.


Juan enjoyed fishing, hunting and working with his hands as a mechanic, and he was the "Biggest Little Man" you could ever meet.


Juan is survived by his former wife, Maria Aurora Rodriguez; seven children: Irene (Sotero) Reyna of Eagle Point, Ore.; Sandra (Vernon) Reyna, Cecilia (Noe) Gonzalez, Teresa (Javier) Reyna-Aviles, Juan Reyna, Jr. and Migel (Jessica) Reyna, all of Coloma; 24 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; his former wife, Aurora Cantu, and daughter Petra Reyna of Houston, Texas; three stepchildren: Rosalva (Tim) Rodriguez-Earl of Oshtemo; and Veronica Rodriguez and Esiquio (Omaira) Rodriguez, both of Kalamazoo; and nine grandchildren; seven brothers: Rudy Reyna of Mattawan; Roberto Reyna of Lawton; Gabino Reyna of Pearsall, Texas; Bobby Reyna of South Haven; Atanico Reyna of San Antonio; Paul Reyna of Hartford and Pete Reyna of South Haven and a sister: Stella (Jose) Reyna-Rodarte of Hartford.


The family will welcome friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, where a service to honor his memory will begin at 1 p.m. Pastor Margaret Salas of Iglesia del Espiritu Santo in Paw Paw will officiate.
