Josh Wayne Tanner

Josh Wayne Tanner, of Baroda, was born July 25, 1973, in Saint Joseph, the son of Jerry and Marlene (Accardi) Tanner, both of whom precede him in passing. Josh was also preceded in passing by a brother, Rick Tanner.

Josh passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Corewell Lakeland Hospital, Saint Joseph.

Josh is survived by three sons: Nathanial Tanner, James Tanner and Jacob Tanner; two grandchildren, Liam Tanner and Monroe Tanner; a brother, Donnie Tanner; and a step-father, Wayne Accardi; and numerous other family members and friends.

Josh was a carpenter by trade.

As to Josh’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial celebration of Josh’s life will be held at 3:30 p.m., on Saturday, April 15, at New Day Church of Watervliet. Pastor Scott Saylor will officiate. Following the services, a potluck dinner will take place, and everyone is welcome to bring a dish to pass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Josh’s name may be made to the family. The Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford is assisting the family with arrangements.
