Joseph Morseau

Joseph Morseau, 65, of Allegan, Mich., passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, at Wings of Hope Hospice, Allegan, Mich.

Joseph was born Feb. 16, 1953, in Hartford, the son of George and Theresa (Alexis) Morseau, both of whom preceded him in passing. Also preceding him in passing were six siblings: Veronica Morseau, Gloria Morseau, Susie Morseau, Kipling Morseau, John Morseau and Juanita Wall.

Joseph was a member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. He was an excellent college student. In his spare time, he loved playing the guitar, reading and eating.

Joseph is survived by two sisters, Georgiana Morseau and Cleora Morseau.

The family will welcome friends from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at the Calvin Funeral Home, with a traditional Indian service taking place during the visitation. A celebration of life service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, April 27, at the funeral home with Deacon Arthur Morsaw officiating. Joseph will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery in Silvercreek Township. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
