Jesus Delarosa, Iii

Jesus Delarosa III, 17, of Hartford passed away suddenly Friday, Aug. 21, 2020.

Jesus was born Dec. 8, 2002, in Hidalgo County, Texas, the son of Jesus Delarosa and Sara Aguilera. He was to be a senior at Hartford High School this fall, and played soccer, basketball and wrestling.

Jesus is survived by his parents: Sergio Jesus Cantu and Sara Delarosa; two sisters: Cielo Delarosa and Jasmin Delarosa; a brother, Diego Delarosa; paternal grandparents: Jesus and Esperanza Delarosa; maternal grandmother, Maria de Jesus Vazquez, and his best friend, Valentin Jr. Arispe.

The family will welcome friends from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Hartford, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. with Father German Perez-Diaz officiating. Current restrictions remain in place, so we encourage those wishing to greet the family to please be patient and everyone will get a chance to pay their respects. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hartford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jesus’ name may be made to the family.
