Jeffery David Conner

Jeffery David “JD” Conner, 70, of Hartford, formerly of Houston, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, at home.

JD was born on May 6, 1953, in Kalispell, Mont., the son of Walter and Margaret (Johnson) Conner, both of whom precede him in passing. Also preceding him in passing are his father and mother-in-law: Carol and Ruby Parker; a sister-in-law, Debra Parker Whipple, and a nephew, Andy Chambers.

He was formerly employed at Liberty Plant Maintenance in Liberty, Texas, before retiring from Texas Rotating Equipment in Dayton, Texas. He loved to hunt and fish, but his greatest passion was riding his Harley. He also loved the time spent with family and friends.

JD is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Parker) Conner who he married on Sept. 29, 2000; brothers-in-law: Mike (Debbie) Parker, Mark (Christine) Parker; nephews: Justin Johns, Joshua Parker, Mike Parker Jr., Ben Chambers, Brad Parker, Jeremy Parker, and Andrew Parker; his nieces: Ashley Hauch, and Alexa Parker; and numerous great-nieces and nephews; and his four legged companions: Marley, Jack and Dozer.

As per JD’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will host a private gathering to honor JD’s memory at a later date. Anyone wishing to make a memorial in JD’s name may do so with a charity of their choice. The family has entrusted the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, with arrangements.
