Jason Allen Phillips

Jason Allen Phillips was born on Jan. 4, 1985, in St. Joseph, the son of Rodney and Sandra (Head) Phillips.

Jason passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo, Mich. Jason was employed at Shafer Lake Fruit in Hartford, he was an Ohio State Buckeye and Chicago White Sox fanatic; however, his most precious times were spent with his son, Zayne and the rest of his loving family.

Jason leaves behind to cherish his memory: his son, Zayne Phillips; his significant other; Ivette Cuellar; his mother, Sandra Phillips, his father, Rodney Phillips; two sisters: Farrah Phillips and Jennifer (Jorge) Rodriguez; his nieces and nephews: Jordan Rodriguez, Jamin Rodriguez, Raul (Kalianna) Garza Jr., Alyssa Phillips, Jayden (Celso) Garza and Gabriella Phillips; and a great-niece and nephew; Malayha and Jameson; along with numerous other family members and friends.

Jason was preceded in passing by his daughter, Zoe.

The family will welcome friends for a celebration of Jason's life from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, July 31, at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford. Cremation will follow. Those wishing to leave condolences for the family may do so at http://www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
