Janice Charlotte Stone

Janice Charlotte Stone was born March 22, 1942, in Floral, Ark., the daughter of Theodore and Audrey (Nicholson) Reeves.

Janice passed away on Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at Spectrum Health Lakeland, St. Joseph, at the age of 80.

Janice was united in marriage with Carl Stone on June 13, 1960. Janice helped her husband in their business, Carl Stone and Son Electrical. In her spare time, she loved to bake, do embroidery, work in her garden, but, most of all, spending precious time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Janice leaves behind to cherish her memory; a son, Danny (Theresa) Stone of Dowagiac; two granddaughters, Trista (Corey) Warren and Santana Stone; a grandson, Joshua (Debbie) Stone; ten great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Ian, Steven, Brandon Jr., Aleena, Leo, Alison, Grace, Ana and Josephine; and a brother, Bob (Liz) Reeves.

Janice was preceded in passing by her husband, Carl on Aug. 16, 2016; her parents, Theodore and Audrey Reeves; a brother, Jim Jackson; and two sisters, Brona Hutchins and Diane Reeves.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a public gathering to honor her memory will take place at a later date.
