James Nathan Brown, Sr.

James Nathan Brown Sr., 51 of Grand Junction passed away suddenly Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2016, at home.

James was born July 15, 1965, in Paw Paw, the son of Randell and Nettie (Henslee) Brown.

James was preceded in passing by his father; his wife, Patricia Brown, and a brother, Randell.

James is survived by four children: Mellisa (Porfirio) Hernandez in Benton Harbor, James Nathan (Gayle) Brown of Bloomingdale, Misty (Gary) Wells of Lawrence and Randy (Samantha) Brown of Benton Harbor. He is also survived by his mother, Nettie of Hartford; grandchildren: Gary, Randall, Jada, Airieanna and Violet; five siblings: April Whitener of Grand Junction, Gilbert Brown of Missouri, Charmin (Erasto) Guerrero of Hartford, Ross (Tammy) Brown of Grand Junction and Heaven (Eulogio) Blas of Hartford, and nieces and nephews: Martina, Miguel and Jovani Blas, Jacklyn, Chelsea, Sherry, David, Dale, Amber and Michelle.
