Huston Almon Dixon

Huston Almon Dixon, 81, of Keeler Township, was born on Feb. 9, 1943, in Fisher, Ark., the son of Huston and Geneva (Ballard) Dixon, both of whom preceded him in passing.

Huston passed away on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024 at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph.

On Oct. 18, 1965, Huston and Sharon Long were united in marriage. She survives along with their children: Craig (Cindy) Dixon, Scott (Kristen) Dixon, Lynnette (Darrell) King, Jason (Steph) Dixon, Danyelle Dixon and Victoria Rosales. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two sisters: Phyllis (Ed) Soulard and Sandra (Mike) Skopek.

Huston retired from Miller Transporter and was a member of the Teamsters Union for 30 years.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Hartford Baptist Church, where at 2 p.m. a celebration of his life will commence. Pastor Steven Bisbee will officiate.
