Frances Juanita Bisnett

Frances Juanita Bisnett was born Aug. 28, 1927, in Coloma. She was the daughter of Stanley and Josephine (Peach) Suwarske. Frances passed away at A Place Called Home in Stevensville on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at the age of 94.

Frances was a loving mother and just loved her grandchildren dearly. She was formerly employed by Joe Hassell and in her later years by Lee and Connie Franz. She was a workaholic, especially keeping the house clean. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards of all kinds, and when she was able she faithfully attended the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Sister Lakes. Most important to her, however, was the time she spent taking care of her husband, Norman. She will be truly missed by all.

Frances was united in marriage to Norman "Tom" Bisnett on Oct. 5, 1946. Norman passed away on Aug. 7, 1997. Also preceding Frances in passing was a son, Thomas Bisnett; and nine brothers and sisters.

Frances is survived by two daughters: Beverly (Dennis) Dodd of Sister Lakes and Pamela (Doug) Perin of Mishawaka, Ind.; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The family will welcome friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, April 25, at the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Silver Creek Township, where at 6:30 p.m. a Rosary will be said. A Mass of Christian Burial to honor Frances's memory will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, at the church with Father Russell Homic as the Celebrant. Frances will be laid to rest next to her husband in Keeler Cemetery following the Mass. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to A Place Called Home in Stevensville.
