Evelyn Marie Davis

Evelyn Marie Davis, 76, of Lawrence passed away suddenly Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at Bronson LakeView Hospital, Paw Paw.

Evelyn was born March 14, 1937, in Detroit, the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Watkins) Burns, both of whom preceded her in passing.

A legal secretary by occupation, she compassionately dedicated close to 20 years to taking care of numerous children in her foster home.

She was a loving mother to Adelaide, Mark, MiSun, Patrick and Rando, and caring grandmother to Aaron, Alex, Cole, Haven, Mark, Monica and Sophia.

Evelyn's remains have been cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The family has entrusted the Leonard Funeral Home, Lawrence, with arrangements. Those wishing to leave memorial condolences for the family may do so at http://www.calvin-leonardfh.com.
