Eula Jean Griffin

Eula Jean Griffin was born December 18, 1929 in LaGrange, Missouri, the daughter of Leo and Ruth (Solter) McCullough.

Eula passed away at the age of 88 on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Bronson Commons in Mattawan.

Eula married Edgar Griffin on August 1, 1947. Edgar passed away on August 19, 2008. Also preceding Eula in passing were a son: Thomas Griffin, her parents and a brother; Leo Ray McCullough.

Eula is survived by two sons; Tim (Kristine Brando) Griffin of Decatur and Ted (Mary) Griffin of Lawrence, four grandchildren: Justin, Brian, Collin and Danny, seven great grandchildren; Christopher, Eathen, Grant, Hunter, Jackson, Addison and Dax, a brother; William McCullough of McArthur, California and numerous other family members and friends.

Eula was a former member of the Hess-Eastman Post 174 Auxiliary of Lawrence and the Benevolence Chapter 256 Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds, especially sewing and making quilts.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Calvin Funeral Home and from 11 A.M. till Noon on Friday, February 16, 2018 with a celebration of life service to honor Eula's memory to follow. Chaplain Gene Craven will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Eula's name may be made to Hess-Eastman Post 174 Auxiliary, Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, or Donors Choice.
