Elvis Ray Townley, of Niles, was born Oct. 1, 1968, in St. Joseph, the son of Bobby Sr., and Eva (Cook) Townley. Elvis passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at the Center for Hospice Care Raclin House in Mishawaka, Ind., at the age of 52.
Elvis had been employed at a Walmart Store. In his spare time he loved to hang out with family and friends to watch football and wrestling while eating a meat lovers pizza with a Pepsi by his side.
The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 16, at the First General Baptist Church of Coloma, where at 2 p.m. a celebration of life service to honor Elvis’ memory will take place. Pastor Tom Langston will officiate. After the service cremation will take place and a private family burial of Elvis’ ashes will take place at the same grave as his mother in Coloma Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Caring Circle of Lakeland. The Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, has been entrusted with helping the family. Elvis is survived by a brother, Kenneth Sr., (Molly) Townley of Mishawaka, Ind., and their children: Kenny Jr., and Payton Townley; and an aunt, Mary Mitchell of Benton, Ky.
Elvis was preceded in passing by his parents; a brother, Bobby Townley Jr.; and a sister, Linda Zuhl.
