Edward Frank Cotman, 58, of Hartford passed away Sept. 2, 2014, at his home.
Frank Jr., as he was known to most, was born Jan. 4, 1956, in Watervliet. He was the son of Frank and Lucy (Calabrese) Cotman, both of whom preceded him in passing.
Frank graduated from Hartford High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree. He was employed at Gast Manufacturing for more than 30 years. Frank was a Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and even built his own motorcycles from the ground up. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the NRA.
Family and friends will gather from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford. At 7:30 p.m., a time of remembering Frank's life will be shared by one of Frank's closest friends, Lucky Glasgow. After the service, a get-together will begin at 8 p.m. at the Cotman residence. Frank is survived by his wife, Virginia; a son, Frankie Cotman of Hartford; and a sister, Angie (Tommy) Campanaro of Glendale, Ariz.
