Dwayne Dean Goodrich, Jr.

Dwayne Dean Goodrich Jr., 55, of Lawrence passed away suddenly Friday, Aug. 17, 2018, at Tennova Healthcare of Shelbyville in Shelbyville, Tenn.

Dwayne was born June 1, 1963, in Paw Paw, the son of Dwayne Goodrich Sr. and Mary Matheny. Dwayne worked at Ralph Moyle, Inc. and loved working for his uncle at Clark's Auto Parts. In his spare time, he loved the quality time he spent with his loving wife and family and making others happy. He was the one man you could always depend on when people needed him the most.

Dwayne was preceded in passing by his father; a daughter, Michelle Munson; and his "bonus" dad, Claudy Raney.

Dwayne married the former Danee Sturdevant on Nov. 10, 2007, and she survives; along with seven children: John Munson, Jessica Munson, Joshua Sturdevant, Walter (Danielle) Radny III, Keith (Shanda) Randy, Robert Pelaez III and Martina Pelaez; many grandchildren; his mother, Mary (Bill) Ross; four siblings: Tammy Keller, Brenda (Randy) Jarka, Peggy Griffin and Tim (Joan) Goodrich; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle and numerous other family members and friends.

The family will welcome friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford. The service to honor his memory will commence at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, at the Hartford Federated Church with the Rev. Ben Williamson officiating. Following the services, Dwayne will be cremated.
