Douglas James Musick

October 1, 1956 — May 11, 2023

Douglas James Musick, of Coloma, was born Oct. 1, 1956, in Benton Harbor.

Doug passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family, on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

Doug was a Tool and Die Maker. He loved the outdoors, camping, hunting, and being with his family. He loved the Lord and his life reflected this, not only in the way he raised his family, but in his every day life.

On March 27, 1976, Doug was united in marriage to the former Brenda Carlisle. She survives, along with their three children: Lisa (Louie) Salisbury, Charles (Holly) Musick, Joseph (Angel) Musick; and their nine grandchildren: Nate, John, Ben, Peyton, Preston, Paxton, Hadley, Colton, and Bella; also three sisters; and two brothers.

Doug was preceded in passing by his mother, Virginia Viola (Jacobs) Musick.

The family will welcome friends at the Hartford Bible Church, on the 10th day of June, 2023. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 5:00, followed by a celebration of life in Doug’s memory.
