Douglas Brian Martens

Douglas Brian Martens was born June 18, 1955, in Watervliet. He was the second son born to Charles and Margaret (Colman) Martens. Doug, as he was known to everyone, passed away at home on Monday Feb, 17, 2014. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

Cremation has taken place. Burial of both his mother Margaret and Doug's ashes will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hartford on Sunday, April 27, at 11 a.m. from 1-5 p.m. there will be a gathering of family and friends of both Doug and Margaret's at the family home. Doug is survived by his brother, Charles Bruce (Kay) Martens of Lansing.

Doug was a 1973 graduate of Hartford High School. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
