Douglas Eugene Davis

Douglas Eugene Davis was born March 26, 1958, in St. Joseph. He was one of four children born to Melvin and Beverly (Sorenson) Davis. “Doug,” as he was known to everyone, passed away at his home in Covert Township on Thursday, July 5, 2018.

Doug was an entertainer by trade and owned Five Star Entertainment. He also drove truck for BMD Inc., and his farm was his hobby.

On May 17, 2014, Doug was united in marriage to Peggy Bresson, she survives; along with Doug's children, Matthew Davis and Bambi Weston of Oklahoma; a stepdaughter, Ashley (Chris) Hotrum; several grandchildren; three brothers: Melvin Davis Jr., Alvin (Renae) Davis and Thomas Davis all of Michigan; and many other family members and friends. Doug was preceded in passing by a son, Aaron Davis.
