Donna B. Beam

Donna was born July 23, 1929, in Watervliet, the daughter of John and Maude (Hilts) Frazier. At the age of 84, Donna passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at her home.

Clare Beam and Donna Frazier, were united in marriage on July 26, 1946. She was a member of the Hartford Federated Church, she enjoyed going to the Sportsman's Club for their Friday night fish dinners, rooting her beloved Detroit Tigers, taking her children fishing and most importantly, visiting with her family, especially on the holidays.

Donna is survived by four sons: Robert (Lupe) Beam of Fennville, Donald (Brenda Wright) Beam of Lawrence, Ron (Kelly) Beam and Garth (Tamela) Beam both of Kalamazoo; two daughters: Wanda (Junior) Baham of Independence, La., and Millie (Norm) Thompson of Alexandria, La. Donna is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding Donna in passing were her husband, Clare, on May 2, 1998; a daughter, Judith Beam; grandson, Eric Beam; her parents; four sisters and eight brothers.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday Jan. 24, at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford, where a service to celebrate her life will commence at 1 p.m. Saturday. Pastor Glen Cowles of East Arlington Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Keeler Cemetery.
