Dianne Marie Haney

Dianne Marie Haney was born Feb. 10, 1940, in Muskegon, the daughter of Andrew and Gertrude (Ludwig) Dresen. Dianne passed away suddenly at her home, in Lawrence, on Friday, Dec. 16, 2022, at the age of 82.

On March 16, 1957, Dianne was united in marriage with LeRoy Haney. She was formerly employed at the Du-Well Corporation in Bangor. When she could, she loved going to the casino, enjoyed reading, and knitting. Everyone in the family has something that she knitted for them; however, her most precious times were spent with her loving family.

Dianne leaves behind to cherish her memory; three sons: David (Deborah) Haney of Cantonment, Fla., James (Nancy) Haney of Hinesville, Ga., and Robert (Cindy) Haney of Lawrence; a daughter, Dawn (Steve) Brady of Lawrence; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Christensen of Muskegon.

Dianne was preceded in passing by her husband, LeRoy, who passed away on Nov. 4, 2007; a son, Michael Haney; a daughter, Katherine Haney; a grandson, Robert Haney; her parents; and a brother, Denny Dresen.

As to Dianne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Her ashes will be placed next to her husband's, in Southard Cemetery, in Bangor Township, with a private graveside service.
