Diana Lynn Eaton

Diana Lynn Eaton, 69, of Hartford, formerly of Kalamazoo passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021.

She was born on Jan. 21, 1951, to Wallace and Bettye (Wood) Harvey in Kalamazoo. She was raised by her mother and step-father Wilbur Long. She worked as a CNA with home health care for several years. She enjoyed reading, watching her favorite TV shows especially Jeopardy and playing games on her tablet.

Diana is survived by her daughters: Ronda (Erick) Johnson of Hartford, Wendy (Dave) Grant of Portage, Robin Carruthers of Kalamazoo, and her son, Chris (Misty) Eaton of Delaware, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Eaton; her stepfather, Wilbur Long; daughter, Gayle Kuhn; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Kuhn; two grandsons: Alexander and Hunter Eaton; her parents; and a brother; Chris Harvey.

The family will welcome friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 25, at Full Gospel Assembly Church in Hartford. Pastor Lonnie Truelove will officiate. Diana will be laid to rest in Genessee Prairie Cemetery in Oshtemo Township with a private family service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
