David Eugene Fuller

May 26, 1957 — May 18, 2016

David Eugene Fuller, 58, of Hartford went home to be with his Lord and saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at his home.

David was born May 26, 1957, in Watervliet, the son of Allie and Catherine (Davis) Fuller, both of whom preceded him in passing. Also preceding him in passing were four siblings: Harry Fuller, Gerald Fuller, Betty Heffington and Harold Fuller; stepfather, Stanley Briggs; and a brother-in-law, Gary Heffington.

He was well known around the city of Hartford, where community members would often see him around town on his scooter chair talking to everyone he came in contact with. His most enjoyable times were spent with his family and his pets, whom he loved very much.

David is survived by a sister, Jackie Heffington of Hartford; a brother, Tom (Cathy) Fuller of Watervliet; two stepbrothers, Allen (Shirley) Briggs of Bangor and John (Patsy) Briggs of Coloma; brother-in-law, Gene Heffington Sr. of Dowagiac; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Fuller of Hartford; and special friend and caretaker, Toni Fuller Murphy. He is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; and many other family members; and friends.

The family will welcome friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at Full Gospel Christian Tabernacle, 8080 Carmody Road, Watervliet, where the service to honor his memory will commence at 10 a.m. Monday, May 23, with the Rev. Tom Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hartford. The family requests memorial donations in David's name be made to the church.
