Clyde Milford Williamson

Clyde Milford Williamson, 92, was born June 14, 1923, in Jonesboro, Ark. He passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at The Willows in St. Joseph.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford. As to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date in Keeler Cemetery. Clyde married Florence Irene Johnson. He was formerly employed at Watervliet Paper Mill and then at Contech LLC of Dowagiac and was a Keeler fireman for more than 25 years.

Clyde is survived by a daughter, Gayle (Garson) Bisnett of Hartford; three grandchildren: Philip Gunther of Lincoln, Neb.; Lesa (Mitch) Pratt of St. Joseph; and Jason Williamson of Hartford; and four great-grandchildren: Mallory Gunther, Mackinzie Gunther and Nick Gunther, all of Des Moines, Iowa; and Spencer Beem of St. Joseph.

Clyde was preceded in passing by his wife; a daughter, Dianna Williamson; two sons, Jon Williamson and Russell Williamson; his parents; and nine brothers and sisters.
