Christopher Allen Johnson

Christopher Allen Johnson was born Sept. 9, 1985, in Berrien Center. Christopher is the son of Billie Pucket and Gary Johnson.

Christopher passed away at the age of 39 on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital, in Grosse Pointe, Mich.

Christopher is survived by his mother and stepfather: Billie and Chad Hunt of Hartford; his father and stepmother: Gary and Katrina Johnson of Hartford; his three brothers: Todd Johnson, Garrod Johnson, Cole Hunt and his sister, Penelope Hunt; along with several other family members who all loved and cared for Christopher very much.

Christopher had a love for cards shuffling them back and forth and at times offering to share them with others brought him so much joy. Christopher also had a love for the Wheel of Fortune and would shout out "buy a vowel"; he also had a love for football and loved cheering along with the crowd for both teams.

Christopher would blow kisses to those he loved and gave the best head hugs. Christopher was also able to win the hearts of everybody that he came into contact with and those who knew him will always remember those big brown eyes. Christopher was loved by so many and will be missed.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, at the Calvin Funeral Home in Hartford, where at 1:30 p.m. a celebration of life service to honor Christopher’s memory will be held.
