Christopher Monroe Dasse

Christopher Monroe Dasse was born April 29, 1948 in Benton Harbor, the son of Lester and Betty (Monroe) Dasse, both of whom precede him in passing.

Chris, as he was known, passed away suddenly at the age of 72, on Monday, May 11, 2020 at his home in Lincoln Township.

Chris was formerly employed at Fed Ex, was manager of Meadow Streams Trailer Park and most recently at Orchard Grove Land Fill. He also was a minister in the West Ministries Pastoral Works.

On March 2, 1968, Chris was united in marriage with Beverly Zuhl, who survives, along with two sons; Kenneth (Kimberly) Dasse and Robert Dasse, both of Coloma. He is also survived by two grandchildren; Kevin (Alexa) Dasse and Dustin (Nicole) Dasse, two great-grandchildren; Brayden Dasse and Kinslee Dasse and a sister; Judy Caulpitzer of Knoxville, Tennessee.

As per Chris’ wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date, when all can be present. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Chris’ name may be made to the family. The Calvin Funeral Home, Hartford, is assisting with arrangements.
